# Council Directive of 6 February 1970 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the permissible sound level and the exhaust system of motor vehicles (70/157/EEC), Division 4.3


The mark must be clearly legible and indelible even when the replacement exhaust system or component thereof is fitted to the vehicle.
