  "text": "Council Directive\nof 20 June 1989\nestablishing the detailed procedures for carrying out checks to ensure that the freezing point of untreated milk laid down in Annex A of Directive 85/397/EEC is complied with\n(89/384/EEC)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community,\nHaving regard to Council Directive 85/397/EEC of 5 August 1985 on health and animal health problems affecting intra-Community trade in heat-treated milk as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3768/85, and in particular Article 11 (6) thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the Commission,\nWhereas Chapter VI, point D of Annex A of Directive 85/397/EEC indicates the standards which must be complied with when untreated milk enters the treatment establishment or collection or standardization centre;\nWhereas, in order to allow for differences in collection, provision should be made at what stage the check on the freezing point may be carried out to ensure that this requirement is applied uniformly,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DIRECTIVE:",
