This Directive shall not apply to embryos collected, processed and stored in a Member State before 1 January 1991.

2.

Until the date of entry into force of the decisions adopted pursuant to Articles 7, 8 and 9, the Member States shall not apply to imports of embryos from third countries more favourable conditions than those resulting from the application of Chapter II.
