1.

The rules laid down in Directive 90/425/EEC shall apply, in particular to checks at origin, to the organization of, and follow-up to, the checks to be carried out by the Member State of destination, and to the protective measures to be implemented.

In Annex A, heading I of Directive 90/425/EEC the following reference is added:

‘Council Directive 91/68/EEC of 28 January 1991 on animal health conditions governing intra-Community trade in ovine and caprine animals,

In Annex B point A of Directive 90/425/EEC, the first indent is deleted.
