The Member States shall be authorized to subject the entry into their territory of the animals (including cage birds), semen, ova and embryos referred to in this Directive which have passed through the territory of a third country to production of a health certificate certifying compliance with the requirements of this Directive.\n2. Member States which have recourse to the possibility laid down in paragraph 1 shall inform the Commission and the other Member States within the Standing Veterinary Committee.",
