# European Parliament and Council Directive 94/63/EC of 20 December 1994 on the control of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions resulting from the storage of petrol and its distribution from terminals to service stations, Division 5.1: Earth/Overfill detection

Loading must not be permitted unless a permissive signal is provided by the combined earth/overfill control unit.
In the event of an overfill condition or a loss of vehicle earth, the control unit on the gantry must close the gantry-loading control valve.
