Chapter B Obligatory additional subjects for radar navigation

Knowledge of radar theory: general knowledge of radioelectric waves and principles of radar operation;

Ability to use radar equipment, interpretation of the radar display, analysis of the information supplied by the equipment and knowledge of the limits of the information supplied by radar;

Use of the turn indicator;

Knowledge of the ECIW rules on radar navigation.
