# Council Directive 97/70/EC of 11 December 1997 setting up a harmonised safety regime for fishing vessels of 24 metres in length and over, Division Regulation 22:: Fire-extinguishing appliances in machinery spaces

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

Notwithstanding the provisions of this Regulation, all machinery spaces of category A shall be fitted with a fixed fire-extinguishing arrangement.
