  "text": "Any machine for use with interchangeable equipment which compresses air, gases or vapours to a pressure higher than the inlet pressure. A compressor comprises the bare compressor itself, the prime mover and any component or device supplied, which is necessary for safe operation of the compressor.\nExcluded are the following categories of device:\nfans, i.e. devices producing air circulation at a positive pressure of not more than 110 000 pascals\nvacuum pumps, i.e. devices or appliances for extracting air from an enclosed space at a pressure not exceeding atmospheric pressure\ngas turbine engines.",
