# Directive 2000/14/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8 May 2000 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the noise emission in the environment by equipment for use outdoors, Division 4

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

Where the equipment meets the provisions of this Directive, the notified body must issue a certificate of conformity to the applicant as described in Annex X.
If the notified body refuses to issue a certificate of conformity, it must state the detailed grounds for the refusal.
