  "text": "The manufacturer must lodge an application for assessment of his quality assurance system with a notified body of his choice.\nThe application must include:\nall relevant information for the product category envisaged, including technical documentation of all equipment already in phase of design or production that must contain at least the following information:\nname and address of the manufacturer or his authorised representative established in the Community\na description of the equipment\nmake\ntrade name\ntype, series and numbers\nthe technical data relevant for the identification of the equipment and the assessment of its noise emission, including, if appropriate, schematic drawings and any description and explanation necessary for their understanding\nthe reference to this Directive\nthe technical report of noise measurements carried out in accordance with the provisions of this Directive\nthe technical instruments applied and the results of the evaluation of the uncertainties due to production variation and their relation to the guaranteed sound power level\na copy of the EC declaration of conformity\nthe documentation concerning the quality assurance system.",
