# Council Directive 2003/85/EC of 29 September 2003 on Community measures for the control of foot-and-mouth disease repealing Directive 85/511/EEC and Decisions 89/531/EEC and 91/665/EEC and amending Directive 92/46/EEC (Text with EEA relevance), Division 4: Products derived from animals of susceptible species which have undergone:

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(a) either a heat treatment in a hermetically sealed container with an Fo value of 3,00 or more; or
(b) a heat treatment in which the centre temperature is raised to at least 70 °C for at least 60 minutes.
