# Directive 2004/54/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on minimum safety requirements for tunnels in the trans-European road network, Division 3.3

The Tunnel Manager shall transmit the safety documentation mentioned in point 2.4 to the Safety Officer, who shall give his/her opinion on the opening of the tunnel to public traffic.
