  1. 1The number of units of one type of vehicle to be registered, sold or put into service per year in the European Union pursuant to Article 22 may not exceed the figures shown below for the vehicle category in question:
  2. 2The number of units of one type of vehicle to be registered, sold or put into service per year in one Member State pursuant to Article 23 shall be determined by that Member State but shall not exceed the figures shown below for the vehicle category in question:
  3. 3The number of units of one type of vehicle to be registered, sold or put into service per year in one Member State for the purposes of Article 6(2) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 1230/2012 shall be determined by each Member State but shall not exceed the figures shown below for the vehicle category in question:
