# Directive 2007/59/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2007 on the certification of train drivers operating locomotives and trains on the railway system in the Community, Article 7: Geographical validity

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. A licence shall be valid throughout the whole territory of the Community.
2. A certificate shall be valid only on those infrastructures and rolling stock identified on it.
