# Directive 2008/96/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 November 2008 on road infrastructure safety management, Article 6b: Protection of vulnerable road users

Member States shall ensure that the needs of vulnerable road users are taken into account in the implementation of the procedures set out in Articles 3 to 6a.
