# Directive 2009/142/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 relating to appliances burning gaseous fuels (codified version) (Text with EEA relevance), Division 5.1

EC verification is the procedure whereby the manufacturer or his authorised representative established within the Community ensures and declares that the appliances subject to the provisions of point 3 are in conformity to the type as described in the EC type-examination certification and satisfy the requirements of this Directive that apply to them.
