# Directive 2009/34/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 April 2009 relating to common provisions for both measuring instruments and methods of metrological control (Recast) (Text with EEA relevance), Division 3.2: In the case of EC limited approval, the letter P, having the same dimensions as the stylised letter ε, shall be placed before this letter.
