The type A notified body, notified for reassessment of conformity, shall assess whether the transportable pressure equipment affords at least the same degree of safety as the transportable pressure equipment referred to in the Annexes to Directive 2008/68/EC. The assessment shall be carried out on the basis of the information produced in accordance with paragraph 2 and, where appropriate, of further inspections.
