1.

By 14 December 2018 the Commission shall publish a review of the suitability of this Directive.

2.

The review shall assess, inter alia, the suitability of:

(a)

the statistical requirements for all sub-sectors of government;

(b)

the design and effectiveness of numerical fiscal rules in the Member States;

(c)

the general level of transparency of public finances in the Member States.

3.

By 31 December 2012, the Commission shall assess the suitability of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards for the Member States.
