  "heading": "Rated operating conditions",
  "text": "The manufacturer shall specify the rated operating conditions of the meter; in particular:\nThe values of fn, Un, In, Ist, Imin, Itr and Imax that apply to the meter. For the current values specified, the meter shall satisfy the conditions given in Table 1;\nTable 1\nFor Class B electromechanical meters I min ≤ 0,4 × I tr shall apply.\nClass A\nClass B\nClass C\nFor direct-connected meters\nIst\n≤ 0,05 × I tr\n≤ 0,04 × I tr\n≤ 0,04 × I tr\nImin\n≤ 0,5 × I tr\n≤ 0,5 × I tr\n≤ 0,3 × I tr\nImax\n≥ 50 × I tr\n≥ 50 × I tr\n≥ 50 × I tr\nFor transformer-operated meters\nIst\n≤ 0,06 × I tr\n≤ 0,04 × I tr\n≤ 0,02 × I tr\nImin\n≤ 0,4 × I tr\n≤ 0,2 × I tr\n≤ 0,2 × I tr\nIn\n= 20 × I tr\n= 20 × I tr\n= 20 × I tr\nImax\n≥ 1,2 × I n\n≥ 1,2 × I n\n≥ 1,2 × I n\nThe voltage, frequency and power factor ranges within which the meter shall satisfy the MPE requirements are specified in Table 2. These ranges shall recognise the typical characteristics of electricity supplied by public distribution systems.\nThe voltage and frequency ranges shall be at least:\n0,9 × U n ≤ U ≤ 1,1 × U n\n0,98 × f n ≤ f ≤ 1,02 × f n\npower factor range at least from cosφ = 0,5 inductive to cosφ = 0,8 capacitive.",
