# Directive 2014/90/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 July 2014 on marine equipment and repealing Council Directive 96/98/EC (Text with EEA relevance), Division 5.1

The manufacturer shall affix the wheel mark referred to in Article 9, and, under the responsibility of the notified body referred to in point 3.1, the latter’s identification number to each individual product that is in conformity with the type described in the EC type-examination certificate and that satisfies the applicable requirements of the international instruments.
