  "text": "A notifying authority shall:\n(a) be established in such a way as to avoid any conflict of interest with conformity assessment bodies;\n(b) be organised and operated in such a way as to safeguard the objectivity and impartiality of its activities;\n(c) be organised in such a way that each decision relating to notification of a conformity assessment body is taken by competent persons different from those who carried out the assessment;\n(d) not offer or provide any activities that are performed by conformity assessment bodies or consultancy services on a commercial or competitive basis;\n(e) safeguard the confidentiality of the information it obtains;\n(f) have at its disposal a sufficient number of competent personnel for the proper performance of its tasks.",
