# Regulation No 31 (EEC), 11 (EAEC), laying down the Staff Regulations of Officials and the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Economic Community and the European Atomic Energy Community, Article 1b


Save as otherwise provided in these Staff Regulations,
(a)the European External Action Service (hereinafter referred to as the EEAS),
(b)the European Economic and Social Committee,
(c)the Committee of the Regions,
(d)the European Ombudsman, and
(e)the European Data Protection Supervisor
shall, for the purposes of these Staff Regulations, be treated as institutions of the Union.
