  "text": "In accordance with Annex VII and save as otherwise expressly provided, an official who is duly appointed shall be entitled to the remuneration carried by his grade and step.\nAn official may not waive his entitlement to remuneration.\nRemuneration shall comprise basic salary, family allowances and other allowances.",
