  "text": "Officials’ remuneration shall be expressed in euros. It shall be paid in the currency of the country in which the official performs his duties or in euros.\nRemuneration paid in a currency other than euros shall be calculated on the basis of the exchange rates used for the implementation of the general budget of the European Union on 1 July of that year.\nEvery year the exchange rates shall be updated retroactively at the time of the annual update of remuneration provided for in Article 65.",
