# Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3440/84 of 6 December 1984 on the attachment of devices to trawls, Danish seines and similar nets, Article 13: Strengthening ropes

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. A strengthening rope is any rope, other than a lacing rope, attached to any part of the trawl.
2. It is prohibited to attach strengthening ropes inside the codend.
