# Council Regulation (EEC) No 3821/85 of 20 December 1985 on recording equipment in road transport, Division 1

Recording equipment must be positioned in the vehicle in such a way that the driver has a clear view from his seat of speedometer, distance recorder and clock while at the same time all parts of those instruments, including driving parts, are protected against accidental damage.
