# Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3164/89 of 23 October 1989 laying down detaled rules for the application of special measures in respect of hemp seed, Article 2

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. Aid shall be granted in respect only of areas :
(a) the whole of which has been sown and harvested ; and
(b) in respect of which there has been submitted :
a declaration of areas sown in accordance with Article 5 of Regulation (EEC) No 1164/89,
an aid application in accordance with Article 8 of that Regulation and Article 3 of this Regulation ; and
(c) which, notwithstanding Article 5 (2) of this Regulation, are eligible for the aid provided for in Article 4 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 1308/70.
2. Each Member State shall grant aid only in respect of hemp seed harvested in its territory.
3. Article 5 (1), Article 7, the second subparagraph of Article 8 (1) and Article 8 (4) of Regulation (EEC) No 1164/89 and the second paragraph of Article 2 of Regulation (EEC) No 3569/92 amending Regulation (EEC) No 1164/89 shall apply for aid for hemp seed.
