Products of heading No 4410, 4411 or 4412 may be worked to form the shapes provided for in respect of the goods of heading No 4409, curved, corrugated, perforated, cut or formed to shapes other than square or rectangular or submitted to any other operation provided it does not give them the character of articles of other headings.

Exemption from the payment of duty within the limits of an annual tariff quota of 600 000 m3 of plywood of coniferous species, without the addition of other substances:

  • of which the faces are not further prepared than the peeling process, of a thickness greater than 8,5 mm, or

  • sanded, of a thickness greater than 18,5 mm.
