For the purposes of heading No 4405, ‘wood flour’ means wood powder of which not more than 8% by weight is retained by a sieve with an aperture of 0,63 mm.

Exemption from the payment of duty within the limits of an annual tariff quota of 600 000 m3 of plywood of coniferous species, without the addition of other substances:

  • of which the faces are not further prepared than the peeling process, of a thickness greater than 8,5 mm, or

  • sanded, of a thickness greater than 18,5 mm.
