# Commission Regulation (EC) No 1359/95 of 13 June 1995 amending Annexes I and II to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87 on the tariff and statistical nomenclature and on the Common Customs Tariff, and repealing Regulation (EEC) No 802/80, Division 4: Heading No 8457 applies only to machine-tools for working metal (other than lathes) which can carry out different types of machining operations either:

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(a) by automatic tool change from a magazine or the like in conformity with a machining programme (machining centres);
(b) by the automatic use, simultaneously or sequentially, of different unit heads working on a fixed position workpiece (unit construction machines, single station); or
(c) by the automatic transfer of the workpiece to different unit heads (multi-station transfer machines).
