  "text": "Commission Regulation (EC) No 89/97\nof 20 January 1997\namending Regulation (EEC) No 2454/93 laying down provisions for the implementation of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2913/92 establishing the Community Customs Code\nTHE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community,\nHaving regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2913/92 of 12 October 1992 establishing the Community Customs Code, as last amended by Regulation (EC) No 82/97, and in particular Article 249 thereof,\nWhereas the verification of the net mass indicated in declarations of entry for free circulation of bananas poses problems of methodology and of uniform application; whereas it is therefore appropriate to specify the methods for determining and checking the net mass of bananas;\nWhereas the measures provided for by this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Customs Code Committee,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:",
