  "text": "1. The tariff preferences referred to in Article 8(3) shall apply to products of the tropical forest originating in a country which according to Annex I benefits from the special incentive arrangements for the protection of the environment or which has subsequently been granted those arrangements by a decision taken in accordance with Article 23.\n2. The special incentive arrangements for the protection of the environment may be granted to a country which effectively applies national legislation incorporating the substance of internationally acknowledged standards and guidelines concerning sustainable management of tropical forests.",
