Article 27

Where the Commission or a Member State receives information that may justify temporary withdrawal and where it considers that there are sufficient grounds for an investigation, it shall inform the Committee and request consultations, which should take place within 15 days.

Following the consultations, the Commission may decide, in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 39, to initiate an investigation.
