# Regulation (EC) No 2003/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 October 2003 relating to fertilisers (Text with EEA relevance), Article 31: New UK fertilisers and technical adaptations

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. The Secretary of State may, by regulations, adapt Annex I to include new types of fertilisers.
2. A manufacturer or its representative which wishes to propose a new type of fertiliser for inclusion in Annex I and is required to compile a technical file for that purpose shall do so by taking into account any relevant guidance and the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
3. The Secretary of State may, by regulations, adapt the Annexes to take account of technical progress.
