  "text": "Commission Regulation (EC) No 2212/2004\nof 21 December 2004\ndetermining the extent to which applications lodged in December 2004 for import licences for certain pigmeat products under the regime provided for by the Agreements concluded by the Community with the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania can be accepted\nTHE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community,\nHaving regard to Commission Regulation (EC) No 1898/97 of 29 September 1997 laying down detailed rules for the application in the pigmeat sector of the arrangements provided for by the Agreements concluded by the Community with the Republic of Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Hungary, and in particular Article 4(5) thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nThe applications for import licences lodged for the first quarter of 2005 are for quantities less than or equal to the quantities available and can therefore be met in full.\n(2)\nThe surplus to be added to the quantity available for the following period should be determined.\n(3)\nIt is appropriate to draw the attention of operators to the fact that licences may only be used for products which comply with all veterinary rules currently in force in the Community,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:",
