Article 3

In Article 1 of Regulation (EC) No 174/1999, the third paragraph is replaced by the following:

‘3.

Licence applications for all the products referred to in Article 1(1) of Council Regulation (EC) No 1255/1999^f1 which, within the meaning of Article 17 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1291/2000^f2, were lodged on the Wednesday and the Thursday following the end of each tendering period referred to in Article 2(2) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 581/2004^f3 and in Article 2(2) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 582/2004^f4 shall be deemed to have been submitted on the working day following that Thursday.’.
