  "text": "The following definitions shall apply for the purposes of this Regulation:\n1.. the definitions laid down in Regulation (EC) No 178/2002;\n2.. the definitions laid down in Regulation (EC) No 852/2004;\n3.. the definitions laid down in Annex I;\nand\n4.. any technical definitions contained in Annexes II and III.\n5..“appropriate authority” means—\n(a)in relation to England, the Secretary of State;\n(b)in relation to Wales, the Welsh Ministers;\n(c)in relation to Scotland, the Scottish Ministers;\n6..“prescribe” means prescribe by regulations.",
