# Council Regulation (EC) No 1/2005 of 22 December 2004 on the protection of animals during transport and related operations and amending Directives 64/432/EEC and 93/119/EC and Regulation (EC) No 1255/97, Article 2b: Authorisations and certificates issued in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man

For the purposes of Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 of, and Annex 2 to, this Regulation, a transporter authorisation, certificate of competence or certificate of approval granted or issued in the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man is to be recognised as if it were issued by the competent authority in Great Britain.
