Article 1

Fishing for sandeel in the North Sea and Skagerrak (ICES Sub-divisions IIa, IIIa and Sub-area IV)^f1 with demersal trawl, seine or similar towed gears with a mesh seize of less than 16 mm shall be prohibited from the date of entry into force fixed by Article 2 until 31 December 2005.
