Regulation (EC) No 382/2001 is hereby amended as follows:

  1. 1..

    In Article 5, the following paragraph shall be added:

    ‘When appropriate, in particular in the case of education and training projects, or other similar projects from which individuals may benefit, Community support may take the form of grants to natural persons. These grants may take the form of scholarships.’.

  2. 2..

    In Article 7, the following paragraph shall be added:

    ‘To this effect, Community support may take the form of grants to natural persons. These grants may take the form of scholarships.’.

  3. 3..

    In Article 13, the second paragraph shall be replaced by the following:

    ‘It shall expire on 31 December 2007.’.
