# Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 June 2006 on shipments of waste, Article 48: Transit through the United Kingdom of waste destined for recovery

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. Where waste destined for recovery is shipped through the United Kingdom from and to a non-EU country to which the OECD Decision does not apply, Article 47 shall apply mutatis mutandis.
2. Where waste destined for recovery is shipped through the United Kingdom from and to an EU country or a country to which the OECD Decision applies, Article 44 shall apply mutatis mutandis...

3. Where waste destined for recovery is shipped through the United Kingdom from a non-EU country to which the OECD Decision does not apply to an EU country or country to which the OECD Decision applies or vice versa, paragraph 1 shall apply as regards the non-EU country to which the OECD Decision does not apply and paragraph 2 shall apply as regards the EU country or country to which the OECD Decision applies.
