  "text": "The following plot and tree parameters must be assessed on Level I points:\nfor each plot:\ndescriptive code,\ncountry,\ndate of observation,\nobservation point number,\nactual latitude and longitude coordinates,\navailability of water to principal species,\nhumus type,\naltitude,\norientation,\nstand data,\nmean age of dominant storey,\nsoil data,\nsoil unit,\nadditional plot information specific for the current year (operations, events),\nfor each tree in the plot:\nplot number,\nsample tree data:\ntree number,\ntree species,\ndefoliation,\ndiscoloration,\ndamage due to easily identifiable causes (insect, fungi, abiotic agents…),\nidentification of damage type,\nobservations on the tree in the plot.\nThe following plot and tree information must be collected on Level II plots:\ncountry,\nplot number,\ndate of assessment\nnumber of trees\ntree species\norientation,\ninformation on removals and mortality,\nexposure,\nsocial class,\ncrown shading,\nvisibility.",
