  "text": "Commission Regulation (EC) No 1792/2006\nof 23 October 2006\nadapting certain regulations and decisions in the fields of free movement of goods, freedom of movement of persons, competition policy, agriculture (veterinary and phytosanitary legislation), fisheries, transport policy, taxation, statistics, social policy and employment, environment, customs union, and external relations by reason of the accession of Bulgaria and Romania\nTHE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,\nHaving regard to the Treaty of Accession of Bulgaria and Romania, and in particular Article 4(3) thereof,\nHaving regard to the Act of Accession of Bulgaria and Romania, and in particular Article 56 thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nPursuant to Article 56 of the Act of Accession, where acts which remain valid beyond 1 January 2007 require adaptation by reason of accession, and the necessary adaptations have not been provided for in the Act of Accession or its Annexes, the necessary adaptations are to be adopted by the Commission in all cases where the Commission adopted the original act.\n(2)\nThe Final Act of the Conference which drew up the Treaty of Accession indicated that the High Contracting Parties had reached political agreement on a set of adaptations to acts adopted by the Institutions required by reason of accession and invited the Council and the Commission to adopt these adaptations before accession, completed and updated where necessary to take account of the evolution of the law of the Union.\n(3)\nThe following Commission Regulations should therefore be amended accordingly:\nin the field of the free movement of goods: Regulations (EC) No 1474/2000, (EC) No 1488/2001, (EC) No 1043/2005 and (EC) No 1564/2005,\nin the field of competition: Regulations (EC) No 773/2004 and (EC) No 802/2004,\nin the field of agriculture (veterinary legislation): Regulations (EC) No 136/2004 and (EC) No 911/2004,\nin the field of fisheries: Regulations (EC) No 80/2001, (EC) No 2065/2001 and (EC) No 2306/2002,\nin the field of transport policy: Regulation (EC) No 2121/98,\nin the field of taxation: Regulations (EEC) No 2719/92 and (EC) No 1925/2004,\nin the field of statistics: Regulations (EEC) No 1868/77, (EC) No 2702/98, (EC) No 1227/1999, (EC) No 1228/1999, (EC) No 1358/2003, (EC) No 1668/2003, (EC) No 2139/2004 and (EC) No 772/2005,\nin the field of environment: Regulations (EC) No 349/2003 and (EC) No 1661/1999,\nin the field of customs union: Regulations (EEC) No 2454/93, (EEC) No 2289/83 and (EEC) No 2290/83,\nin the field of external relations: Regulations (EC) No 3168/94 and (EC) No 1547/1999.\n(4)\nThe following Commission Decisions should therefore be amended accordingly:\nin the field of the freedom of movement of persons: Decision 2001/548/EC,\nin the field of agriculture (veterinary legislation): Decisions 83/218/EEC, 92/260/EEC, 92/452/EEC, 93/195/EEC, 93/196/EEC, 93/197/EEC, 94/85/EC, 94/984/EC, 95/233/EC, 96/482/EC, 96/730/EC, 97/4/EC, 97/252/EC, 97/296/EC, 97/365/EC, 97/467/EC, 97/468/EC, 97/569/EC, 98/179/EC, 98/536/EC, 1999/120/EC, 1999/710/EC, 2000/50/EC, 2000/284/EC, 2000/585/EC, 2000/609/EC, 2001/556/EC, 2001/600/EC, 2001/881/EC, 2002/472/EC, 2003/630/EC, 2003/858/EC, 2004/211/EC, 2004/233/EC, 2004/253/EC, 2004/361/EC, 2004/432/EC, 2004/438/EC, 2004/616/EC, 2004/639/EC, 2004/825/EC, 2005/432/EC, 2005/648/EC, 2005/710/EC, 2006/168/EC and 2006/264/EC,\nin the field of agriculture (phytosanitary legislation): Decisions 2005/870/EC and 2005/942/EC,\nin the field of transport policy: Decision 77/527/EEC,\nin the field of statistics: Decisions 91/450/EEC, 98/385/EC, 2000/115/EC, 2004/747/EC, 2004/760/EC and 2004/761/EC,\nin the field of social policy and employment: Decisions 82/43/EEC and 98/500/EC,\nin the field of environment: Decisions 76/431/EEC and 2000/657/EC,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:",
