# Commission Regulation (EC) No 1882/2006 of 19 December 2006 laying down methods of sampling and analysis for the official control of the levels of nitrates in certain foodstuffs (Text with EEA relevance), Division B.3: Sampling at retail stage

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

Sampling of foodstuffs at the retail stage shall be done where possible in accordance with the sampling provisions set out in B.2.
Where that is not possible, an alternative method of sampling at retail stage may be used provided that it ensures that the aggregate sample is sufficiently representative of the sampled lot and is fully described and documented.
