  "text": "Commission Regulation (EC) No 1179/2007\nof 9 October 2007\nregistering a name in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications (Bayerischer Meerrettich or Bayerischer Kren (PGI))\nTHE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community,\nHaving regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 510/2006 of 20 March 2006 on the protection of geographical indications and designations of origin for agricultural products and foodstuffs, and in particular the first subparagraph of Article 7(4) thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nIn accordance with the first subparagraph of Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 510/2006 and Article 17(2) thereof, the application submitted by Germany to register the name ‘Bayerischer Meerrettich’ or ‘Bayerischer Kren’ was published in the Official Journal of the European Union .\n(2)\nOne objection was notified to the Commission under Article 7 of Regulation (EC) No 510/2006. As that objection was subsequently withdrawn, the name should be registered,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:",
