(1)
Some Member States are experiencing difficulties in meeting the deadline of 31 March 2007, set in Article 10 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1010/2006f3, for making payments to the beneficiaries of the exceptional market support measures. As this is the first time that such measures have been taken, the administrative procedures have taken a long time to set up. The payment deadline should therefore be extended by two months.
(2)
Regulation (EC) No 1010/2006 should therefore be amended accordingly.
(3)
As the deadline currently set is 31 March 2007, this Regulation should apply from 1 April 2007.
(4)
The measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Management Committee for Poultrymeat and Eggs,
