This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

It shall apply from 1 January 2008.

However Article 1(6) and (16) shall apply from 1 January 2007 and point (7) shall apply to aid applications relating to years or premium periods starting from 1 January 2008.
