  "text": "Council Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 1323/2008\nof 18 December 2008\nadjusting with effect from 1 July 2008 the remuneration and pensions of officials and other servants of the European Communities and the correction coefficients applied thereto\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community,\nHaving regard to the Protocol on the Privileges and Immunities of the European Communities, and in particular Article 13 thereof,\nHaving regard to the Staff Regulations of Officials and the Conditions of Employment of other Servants of the European Communities laid down by Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68, and in particular Articles 63, 64, 65 and 82 of the Staff Regulations and Annexes VII, XI and XIII thereto, and the first paragraph of Article 20, and Articles 64 and 92 of the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the Commission,\nWhereas:\nIn order to guarantee that the purchasing power of Community officials and other servants develops in parallel with that of national civil servants in the Member States, the remuneration and pensions of officials and other servants of the European Communities should be adjusted under the 2008 annual review,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:",
